Jenn pointed me to Animusic — a “Computer Animation Video Album,” most of whose pieces are available on YouTube.

ODDLY COMPELLING.

I believe these pieces are meant to be optimally enjoyed with the consumption of certain substances. That is just my impression.

   If I recall correctly, several of those pieces were comissioned by ATI when they launched their Radeon series of graphics cards. I had a few of them running as realtime demonstrations of video card abilities a few years ago.
